The vast majority of electronic products with high power requirements within today's marketplace are using batteries that are not suitable for providing the performance that end-users need today. This leads to slow adoption, particularly within IoT, e-mobility, and UAV applications.

Our Gii-Cap technology is the solution for making battery-driven products last their whole life.

Many IoT devices have an operational life of 10 years, while the batteries that power them last 2 years before they are replaced. A recent EU funded study concluded that 78 million batteries will be discarded daily by 2025. 

  • Gii-Cap halves the battery size and extends their life by 5-10 times, making batteries last for the entire IoT device lifetime of 10-20 years.

  • Our battery-life extending Gii-Cap technology aims to reduce the number of wasted batteries by 80%. This means 13 billion batteries NOT being produced nor ending up in landfill.

  • This equals over a million tonnes of CO2 saved each year = 1 million passenger return flights from London to New York.

Gii-Cap also enables new solutions in such areas as smart retail, logistics, healthcare and printed electronics.
